Sign In and Out Procedures
We require you to sign your child/children in and out each day on the classroom clipboards provided at the entrance to the playground. It is crucial that you sign your full name and not use initials and that you are always prepared to show your ID if asked. Not every teacher will know who you are, and your child's safety is our priority. If you have arranged for someone else to pick up your child, please communicate this to your child's teacher and the school director in advance. The person picking up your child must be 18 years or older and be listed on your emergency contact form. They will be required to show a valid ID and if they are not listed as an emergency contact, we will require a verbal confirmation from you that it is okay to release your child to the person or persons.
Medical or Dental Emergencies
In the event of a medical or dental emergency, we will contact you immediately by phone. If the parents or guardians cannot be reached, we will call the next persons listed on your emergency contact form.
Medication Policy
If your child needs to take medication during school hours, please notify the office and fill out the proper paperwork. The medicine must be labeled with your child’s name and any spoons or utensils used to administer the medicine must accompany it.
Field Trips
There are occasional field trips throughout the school year that your child’s class may participate in. Parents must sign the field trip permission forms and pay any fees at least 24 hours prior to the field trip to be included. Parent chaperones will be included as needed.
